Eugenio Larosa

Hello and welcome to my website!

I’d like to share with you this quote that represents my approach to life:

In life, don’t take yourself too seriously! Trust me, you won’t make it out alive anyway!

Hello and welcome to my website!

I’m Eugenio Larosa, an entrepreneur in the IT sector and a history enthusiast. I was born in Forlì in 1975, and from a young age, I’ve had a deep passion for the past, which led me to delve into the fascinating world of historical reenactment in 2000.

Through the association I joined, I had the opportunity to satisfy my curiosity and deepen my knowledge of the events and figures that shaped 15th-century Italy.

In 2011, I co-founded the Famaleonis APS association (https://www.famaleonis.com/), of which I am proudly the President. The aim of the association is to create cultural and educational activities related to the second half of the 15th century. I also have a great passion for historical wargaming and I’m a decent miniature painter. Before starting a wargaming project or even just painting a miniature, I dedicate myself to in-depth historical research on the subject.

This passion has allowed me to meet many other history enthusiasts and immerse myself in the world of historical gaming. Currently, I manage the Wargame section of the San Marino Game Convention (https://sanmarinogame.com/), an event dedicated to the world of gaming, with a particular emphasis on historical gaming.

I have also had the opportunity to publish some expansion modules for historical wargames, such as “Samurai and Ashigaru” (an add-on for “Lords & Servants” only in italian language) and the campaign dedicated to the “Guerra del Sale” (using the “Impetus” ruleset). Additionally, I have created “FOR A FEW DICE MORE” a freely downloadable Western ruleset available in Italian and English.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to write my first book, “Roberto Sanseverino: Condottiero of the Italian Renaissance between Military Art and Politics,” published by Chillemi Edizioni (http://www.edizionichillemi.com/). This publication explores the tumultuous military and political career of Roberto Sanseverino, one of the last great condottieri of the 15th century Italian. I invite you to visit the dedicated website for the book to learn more: https://www.robertosanseverinocondottiero.com/

Over the years, thanks to my intense research activities, I have had the opportunity to collaborate as a historical consultant for public and private entities in organizing events and historical valorization projects. I have also contributed to the production of multimedia products, such as films and documentaries, and have participated in the creation of gaming products and publications.

This website aims to be a container for all of these activities.

Here, you can find information about my research, historical consultations, publications, and multimedia productions. I hope that through this virtual space, you can share my passion for history and discover the rich world of 15th-century Italy.

I invite you to explore the site and contact me at enionline.75@gmail.com for further information or collaborations.

Thank you for visiting!
